What is the philosophy at Smith Sports and Fitness?

The bottom line at Smith Sports & Fitness is that we want you to feel good when you finish your workout. You might not be in the mood to workout when you walk in the door. But by the time you leave, it is our goal to make you feel stronger, more empowered and, in general, happier.  

Meet our Staff:

 

Ace - Director of Hospitality, Board of Directors

Ace has been making friends for 10 and a 1/2 years and would love to be your friend too! Ace is dedicated to welcoming Smith Sports and Fitness clients and getting them off to a good start. You can't help but improve your mood when he smiles at you. Ace loves to walk clients to their car and wish them well until he sees them again.  

 
       
   

Atty - Director of Security, Board of Directors

With a fierce bark and a stern face, Atty has 10 and a 1/2 years experience in the security field. Atty heads up security for Smith Sports and Fitness making sure all our clients are safe from UPS delivery men, squirrels, rabbits and other dangers. She is happy to walk clients to their cars to ensure their safety.  

       
 

Matt Smith - Owner/Head Trainer

National Endurance & Sports Trainers Association (N.E.S.T.A.) Certified

With Matt's life long love of sports and his interest in teaching, he is perfectly suited to be a personal trainer. For over three years, Matt has been heading up the training sessions at Smith Sports and Fitness. He has a philosophy of no muscle group left behind. He continually comes up with new exercises to keep you interested and challenged.    

When Matt is not in the gym, you will find him playing basketball or football. He also loves to play video games.  

 
       
 
 

Kelly Smith - Owner/Trainer

National Endurance & Sports Trainers Association (N.E.S.T.A.) Certified

Kelly has been training clients at Smith Sports and Fitness for over three years. She believes the physical benefits of working out are beyond visual. Having a strong heart, strong lungs and strong quads is just the beginning. The mental benefits of working out almost outweigh the physical ones. It is amazing how the feeling of physical accomplishment transcends into other areas of your life.  

Kelly loves to stay active by running and playing basketball. She is also currently undefeated at Wii boxing!
